My new song Alive is out now! An introspective & energetic Synthpop tune.
I wrote the lyrics for this song a few years ago after a breakup. They are about rediscovering who you are on your own. And about remembering that, no matter how ungrounded you can feel after loss, you WILL feel alive again. And whole, and complete.
I'm super grateful for my co-producer and mix engineer Simon Poort, and my mastering engineer Paul Hooper for understanding the vision for this song and making it a reality.
The arrangement and production took a LONG time to finish! The lyrics and melodies came together quickly, but the production as a whole was a lot of work. Especially for me because the song has about 90 tracks in total with more than half of them being vocals, haha!
I've been making music for many, many years now and I can truly say that I'm finally getting really happy with the quality. I LOVE the song and I hope you will too.
